The current investment project of the Dresden-based company InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik has taken shape in the past year 2022 given challenging general conditions.
Infrared technology has exclusive and sometimes mysterious properties because it uses electromagnetic radiation, an invisible, but at the same time, omnipresent force. It can be used, for example, to measure temperatures and gas concentrations, for early fire detection and to track down energy losses.

During the Corona pandemic, our company was one of the few whose products were in global demand. Being a supplier of components that medical device manufacturers urgently needed, we were able to work through with hardly any Corona-related restrictions. Thus, InfraTec can reflect on an overall successful business year.
Given the widespread success of its pyroelectric detectors in the USA, Canada and Mexico, InfraTec is expanding its local presence. Justin Jensen will be joining the team as new Sales Manager East.
